Coding 101 is an online curriculum designed for internal medicine residents. The curriculum includes video modules and resources to help residents practice coding their own visits. While the information can be accessed in any order, the videos are designed for progressive viewing in the order listed, and the supplementary resources are critical to your learning success. Guided examples of outpatient E&M coding using 1995 and
1997 rules.
Coding 101, Part 3: Beyond the Basics (19 minutes):
Modifier -25, modifiers -GE/GC, counseling time, preventive
care, and other miscellaneous topics.
